Beth Liebhardt, MSN, RN, NEA-BC has worked in a variety of specialties within her nursing career over the last 27 years, including medicine, cardiac-medical, and emergency services. At Yale New Haven Hospital, she has focused exclusively on emergency medicine. She received her MSN in Healthcare Systems Leadership from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. She is currently enrolled in the DBA program at Wilmington University, where her dissertation work will focus on nurse retention and the use of virtual reality and interprofessional simulation. In her leadership role, she embraces the challenges and rewards of emergency nursing with dedication and commitment. She is accountable for the entire nursing workforce, including the advanced practice providers and ancillary staff. This extensive experience has deepened her understanding of the complexities inherent in healthcare, particularly within the dynamic environment of emergency care.
While her primary focus has been on patient care and operational management, Beth has consistently supported and championed research initiatives within her areas of practice. Her experience in frontline nursing leadership roles has equipped her with essential skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork, which are vital for effective research collaboration.
