Dr. Justin E. Bird is an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Oncology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He is a leader in the field of orthopaedic oncology and specializes in the surgical treatment of complex spine and pelvic tumors. Dr. Bird has a strong clinical practice using 3D and computer-assisted technology for complex tumor resections and is the lead inventor of the aBLIA technology. He also serves as the Deputy Division Head of Innovation for MD Anderson's Division of Surgery and is the founding Director of the IDEAS Lab at MD Anderson.
