Biography
Stephanie Mello, B.S. is a Master’s student in Human Factors at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) in Daytona Beach, Florida. Miss Mello has worked in multiple areas of Human Factors at ERAU. As a student researcher, she has done VR/MR/AR/XR research for education, and usability research in bettering consumer products during her time in the Research User eXperience (RUX) Lab. She has also participated in the EcoCAR Human Machine Interaction (HMI) Team and even served as Inclusivity sub-team lead. In addition to her broad research endeavors, Miss Mello serves as HFES Student Chapter President at her university. With her leadership and research skills, Miss Mello has been an independent researcher at User-View, Inc. since August of 2022. With User-View she has expanded her user-experience research and gained medical-device research experience inspiring her to extend her knowledge in health care as it relates to human factors.
