Presenter

Amber Jackson Register (she/her) is a Senior Clinical and Usability Engineer for US-based Usability Team for BIOTRONIK’s system design and development organization, Micro Systems Engineering, Inc). She received her Bio Medical Engineering degree from Georgia Institute of Technology and started her career in the field as a user of the Class III medical cardiac rhythm management devices that she now helps to design. Her goal is to ensure that all teams involved in the development process understand their end user, and that designs are tested iteratively with those users throughout the development. She believes that development should not occur in a black box and it is imperative to put users first.
