Michael Boyce
Biography
Michael W. Boyce, M.S., Ph.D., serves as a Human Factors advisor for the Yale Center for Healthcare Simulation (YCHS), Yale New Haven Health and the Yale School of Medicine (YSM), Yale University. Dr. Boyce is also a human factors scientist for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration Digital Health Office, and Office of Health Informatics - Clinical Informatics, where he sits in the Human Systems Integration Division. Dr. Boyce focuses on holistic assessments of the human-technology-environment triad, emphasizing human performance measurement. Finally, Dr. Boyce is the owner and CEO of Boyce Human Performance, LLC, which focuses on delivering quantitative healthcare solutions to the field and supporting the needs of users with varying abilities. Dr. Boyce received his M.S. in Human-Computer Interaction from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2010 and his Ph.D. in Applied / Experimental Human Factors Psychology from the University of Central Florida in 2014.
