Douglas Titze is a passionate Computer Science graduate from the University of South Florida with a keen interest in the intersection of technology and education. Currently, Douglas Titze serves as a Software Developer at the University of South Florida’s Center for Advanced Medical Learning & Simulation (CAMLS). In this role, he specializes in designing training scenarios using cutting-edge technologies such as virtual reality headsets, eye-tracking systems, and haptic gloves.

Douglas Titze leverages these advanced tools to conduct research assessing their impact on learning outcomes, user experience, and information retention. His work aims to determine whether these emerging technologies provide sufficient value for training facilities to invest in, with the ultimate goal of enhancing education and advancing training in the medical field.
