Curt has spent more than 25 years in the field of Biomedical Engineering and Human Factors. After earning a Mechanical Engineering undergraduate degree, he shifted focus to Biomedical Engineering where he attained his PhD while specializing in upper extremity biomechanics and ergonomics. After two post-doc fellowships with an emphasis on improving usability for older adults and people with physical disabilities, Curt joined Delve as a Human Factors Engineer. He has specialized in applying HF to medical device product development and has led multidisciplinary teams throughout the medical device development process, including the design team that won the 2023 HFES User Centered Design Award.
