Erica Massaro (she/her) is the manager of the US-based Usability Team for BIOTRONIK’s system design and development organization, Micro Systems Engineering, Inc., where she applies human factors engineering to the development of Class III cardiac rhythm management and pain management products. Erica oversees a variety of research activities from early-stage user needs identification to the evaluation and validation of medical products. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degree in human factors engineering, both from Tufts University.
