Biography
Sarah is a Human Factors Specialist at Healthcare Human Factors (HHF), a team of over 30 human factors specialists and designers focused on the design and evaluation of healthcare products and services. In three years at HHF, Sarah has led a wide range of usability evaluations of medical devices and systems including, infusion pumps, patient ventilators, patient monitors, IV catheters, and nasal high-flow systems.

Sarah is well versed in FDA’s Human Factors Guidance and ISO 62366 with more than 8 years of experience providing human factors design, development, and evaluation services for pharmaceutical and medical device companies. She also possesses a strong empirical background, with 12 years of experience in clinical and applied research.

Sarah holds an MA and PhD in Cognitive Psychology from York University, specializing in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).
