Biography
Brian is a Human Factors Specialist at Healthcare Human Factors in Toronto, Ontario where he works with a team to evaluate the usability and use safety of medical devices and systems. Brian has over three years of experience conducting research into various medical devices ranging from patient breathing circuits, catheters, infusion pumps, drug library software, to ECG monitors. He has experience with a range of human factors usability engineering methods, including usability risk management, heuristic analysis, usability testing.
Brian holds a MEng in Medical Device Commercialization from the University of Toronto specializing in Human Factors and a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
