Fernando is a human factors analyst for Exploration Ground Systems at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Specifically, Fernando works in the Artemis program conducting human factors assessments and certifying missions with human rating requirements. Fernando also conducts research with the University of Central Florida, with an emphasis on research related to human-robot social interactions, usability of intelligent personal assistants, healthcare communication, and patient experiences.
