Christine Nguyen-Buckley, M.D., has a B.S. in Microbial Biology from UC Berkeley and obtained her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. She completed anesthesia residency and liver transplant anesthesia fellowship at UCLA where she is an Associate Clinical Professor. She is actively involved in numerous patient safety activities in the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at UCLA including directing the Systems Improvement Committee, the Morbidity and Mortality Conference Series, and is part of the Quality and Safety Leadership Team. She also leads the UCLA Hospital Blood and Blood Derivatives Committee.
