Taylor is a Human Factors Specialist at Healthcare Human Factors in Toronto, Ontario where she works with a team to evaluate the usability and use safety of medical devices and systems. Taylor has over six years of experience conducting research into various healthcare systems, products, and environments ranging from communication the operating room to self-management of chronic diseases. Taylor has a particular interest in medical device usability, chronic disease management, and patient-provider communications. She holds a MS and PhD in Industrial Engineering specializing in Human Factors from the University at Buffalo and a BA and BS from SUNY Fredonia.
