Stefano Gelmi is the Lead, Safety at the Healthcare Insurance Reciprocal of Canada (HIROC), where he works with a team with a wealth of expertise and skills in healthcare risk management, patient safety, quality improvement, and human factors. Stefano has a background in industrial and human factors engineering, and is passionate about improving the designs of healthcare systems and technology so healthcare providers can work efficiently and effectively.
