Nicole Mitchell
Biography
Nicole serves as Cedars-Sinai’s inaugural Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer where she oversees a team of DEI professionals, provides strategic leadership, and drives the development of programs & initiatives that promote a culture of diversity, inclusion & belonging.
For almost 15 years, Nicole has been creating and propelling culture change in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors. Prior to joining Cedars-Sinai, she led Diversity and Corporate Social Responsibility efforts with Kia Motors America and Honda Manufacturing of Indiana. She has advanced multifaceted strategies for DEI—encompassing human resources, employee engagement, philanthropy, communications, and supplier diversity—and has led executive-level diversity & inclusion committees.
She holds an MBA from Cleveland State University, a BA in Business Administration from Baldwin Wallace University and is a Certified Diversity Professional through the National Diversity Council.
