Jude Chinyere Okoro
Biography
Jude is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, Tutor, and Health Tech expert with Bachelor of Science in Medical Radiography and Radiological Sciences, and Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound in Nigeria, and a Master’s Degree in Health Technology from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
Currently working in the Radiology department of Christie Clinic PLLC, Champaign. A full member of HFES and Health Care Technical Group (#26003).
His innovative work includes user-centered research on assistive technologies, such as wayfinding robots for navigating indoor environments like hospitals, malls, and schools. His technical knowledge, combined with data analysis, basic engineering principles, and years of experience in Radiology positions him as a leader at the intersection of clinical practice and technological innovation.
Jude is interested in using health technological innovations to improve health care delivery to the people living with disabilities and individuals in underserved communities.
