Biography
Dr. Alexis McGill is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Nursing at the University of New Brunswick. She has been a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner working in New Brunswick for over 22 years in Emergency and Urgent Care settings. She uses a systems thinking methodology, the Functional Resonance Analysis Method to examine, model, and analyze complex health processes to improve how care is delivered to and received by vulnerable populations. From this, recommendations for more integrated and coordinated practice models can be achieved.
