Emily Dissinger is a HF Practice Leader at Core Human Factors, A Rimkus Company. She has been conducting human factors research in the healthcare space for 10 years. Much of her time is spent designing human factors programs and leading teams to execute research. Her favorite part of the job continues to be moderating usability sessions, observing users interacting with new products, and listening to their explanations for novel use errors. She holds a Masters degree in Experimental Psychology from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia with a focus on visual memory and perception.
