Andrea is a Human Factors Specialist at Healthcare Human Factors (HHF), where she has led and conducted a wide range of projects for medical devices, health systems, and patient safety initiatives. In her role, Andrea has evaluated and designed for products and services in all stages of the development life cycle, from preliminary concepts and low-fidelity prototypes to high-fidelity prototypes, market-ready devices, and healthcare network campaigns. Andrea is passionate about improving healthcare and wellness for patients and healthcare providers, and understanding how designing for the strengths and limitations of human minds, bodies, and environments is essential to creating exceptional products and experiences. Andrea holds an MASc and BASc in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto, specializing in human factors and cognitive psychology.
