Matthew Nare is a doctoral candidate in the school of Industrial Engineering and Management at Oklahoma State University. Matthew received his bachelor's degree in Kinesiology Exercise Science and master’s degree in Human Factors Psychology from California State University, Long Beach. His professional experience includes time as a medical device human factors consultant and embedded research internships with MedStar Health, Children’s Mercy Hospital, and Medical University of South Carolina. Matthew’s research focuses on improving healthcare work systems by understanding the factors that contribute to clinician performance and patient safety.
