Dr. Paula Voorheis is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Science of Care Institute at Sinai Health System in Toronto, Canada. She is a Mitacs Elevate Award Recipient and works as the Lead of Research & Development at VeroSource Solutions Inc. Dr. Voorheis is an expert in behavioural science, design thinking, and co-design methodologies. She has extensive experience conducting digital health user research, and employs innovative mixed methods approaches. Dr. Voorheis has led several behavioural science and design thinking workshops in the past for diverse stakeholders (e.g., for healthcare practitioners, digital health design teams, and academic researchers). Her current work focuses on using design thinking and behavioural insights to evaluate and improve personal health records applications across Canada.
