Elizabeth H. Lazzara
Biography
Elizabeth Lazzara, PhD is an Associate Professor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. She currently co-leads the Research, Engineering, and Applied Collaboration in Healthcare (REACH). Previously, Dr. Lazzara held a dual appointment at the University of Kansas School of Medicine and Wichita State University. With extensive experience in military, academic, and commercial settings, her primary interests lie in improving the quality of patient care within the healthcare domain. She aims to make a long-lasting and significant impact by examining and advancing the science and practice of clinical care and patient safety issues related to human performance, teamwork, team training, simulation-based training, and performance measurement.
