Carolyn Rose
Biography
Carolyn has worked for over 20 years in human-centered research and design, generating meaningful insights and defining actionable market opportunities through the combination of observation and interview. Her ethnographic approach aims to better understand the behaviors, expectations, and motivations of end-users, as well as the environments, attitudes, and trends that shape them. She has extensive experience in both discovery and evaluative research methodologies, and has personally logged hundreds of hours of data collection in clinical and home environments throughout the world. Carolyn leads the design research discipline at Insight by Nemera, where research is leveraged to help define new offerings as well as device/ development strategies for medtech and pharma clients. Carolyn holds a Bachelor of Industrial Design degree from Syracuse University and a Master’s degree in Research and Strategy from IIT’s Institute of Design.
