Justine is a Human Factors Specialist at Healthcare Human Factors (HHF), where she works with a team of usability experts dedicated to evaluating the usability and use safety of medical devices. In her time at HHF Justine has completed a range of usability studies and analyses, from formative and summative evaluations to expert reviews of medical devices. Justine has worked with a variety of medical devices and interfaces, including physiologic patient monitors, infusion pumps, and patient monitoring software. Justine has a background in Human Factors engineering, graduating with a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto where she specialized in Human Factors.
