Alex Krantzler (she/they) is the Program Manager of Diversity & Inclusion Education at Cedars-Sinai, where she leads the organizational DEI learning strategy and execution. She brings a diverse background in DEI and learning and development work across a variety of industries in the corporate and nonprofit sectors. Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from UCLA, where they were recipient of the 2019 Undergraduate Student Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Award for their academic and extracurricular contributions. While at UCLA, Alex completed her thesis on how the Hebrew-speaking Israeli LGBTQIA+ community is “queering Hebrew” in response to its binary system of grammatical gender, which won the 2020 Kenneth W. Payne Student Prize for outstanding anthropological work.

Alex lives in Los Angeles, CA with her partner, Alyssa; rescue pup, Molly; tree frog, Pablo; and what seems like 1,000 houseplants.
