Biography
Llewellyn C. Salgado, Jr. is a Senior Program Manager with the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Health Informatics Human Systems Integration (HSI). He oversees program finances, schedules, milestone management, and procurement to meet operational needs and ensure project success. Mr. Salgado received his Master’s Certificate (2017) and B.A. (2013) from the L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs in Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness at Virginia Commonwealth University. Before joining HSI in 2024, Mr. Salgado spent three years with the Department of Homeland Security, Science and Technology Directorate as Strategic Program Manager for the Emerging Risks and Technologies program with a focus on identifying and integrating emerging technologies to ensure new systems and technologies were effectively adapted to human capabilities and limitations, while optimizing performance in homeland security missions.
