Biography
Sitting on James Won’s embedded human factors team at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, I help research teams in the Department of Biomedical and Health Informatics (DBHI) incorporate and apply human-centered design methodologies when developing clinical informatics tools, namely CDS. I have worked with investigators Bob Grundmeier, Irit Rasooly, Naveen Muthu, Mary Catherine Harris, Adam Dziorny and Mark Mai on grants from the NIH, AMA, and AHRQ, often partnering with (and always learning from) HCI Principal Dean Karavite. My specializations include assessment of explainable AI and situation awareness, task analysis, usability testing, and EHR based simulation.
I hold an MS in information science from University of Michigan and a BA in comparative literature from Dartmouth College.
