Biography
Kate O'Neill is a Graduate student at SUNY Binghamton studying Industrial and Systems Engineering with a particular interest in supply chains and process improvement. Her undergraduate research was in "Using Human-Centered Design to Decrease the Risk of Toileting in Hospitals for Patients and Clinicians" which had highlighted the need for more robust economic justification of HF projects and improvements. This inspired her current research into creating an economic analysis tool that accounts for in-direct and longer term impacts of project implementation in healthcare.
